Anxiety can be described as a sensation of unease or “worry”. It may be about something precise or it may be imprecise in nature. A certain amount of anxiety is normal and helps to get better our performance and let people avoid dangerous situations. This usually lasts for a short period causing no impairment in social or occupational functioning. When this anxiety is extended and affects social or occupational functioning, it’s unusual and accounts for anxiety “disorder”.

Acne generally occurs on the face, chest, back, shoulders, and neck. It is one of the most occurred skin conditions. While acne is not a serious threat to the health. Up till now, it can lead to scarring and defacement of the face that can have a significant impact on the patient.

 

Anxiety disorders general presentation

Patients often experience a state of intense uneasiness, improbability, and fear resulting from the anticipation of a threatening incident or state, often to a degree that normal physical and brainpower functioning is disturb. This may be precipitated due to several causes which are simply identified by the patient himself. The anxiety is to a greater degree than just daily worries and patients do talk about that they are not able to manage these worries. They are often accompanying with physical symptoms as well. These symptoms have to present for most days at least for several weeks at a time.

Anxiety disorders also evident as physical symptoms along with psychological symptoms. Some of the common things that patients experience are as follows:

Feeling that something undesirable or harmful is about to happen (restlessness and nervousness)
Dry mouth; hoarseness; swallowing difficulty
Palpitations, Rapid breathing, and heartbeat
Twitching or trembling
Muscle tension; a backache; headaches
Sweating
Difficulty in concentrating
Faintness or Dizziness
Weight loss; Nausea; diarrhea
Sleeplessness
Sexual impotence
Irritability
Fatigue
Nightmares
Memory problems
